G is for girlie.............

Kylie Lambert(le cupcake- Australia)

Girlie-hmmm-says to me pink, flowery and fabric (though Pom poms always do it for me!)- but you must admit cupcakes are taking over the world.......

I think beds should be white to be really girly......

from the White company of course!

You can't beat Peonys, Ranuculus or Roses- and how about silk ones in a pretty jug for a little girls rooms? Try adding a few shells...................... of course!

(cheap chic)
And how about luxurious day beds and Verandahs filled with cushions and flowers?

Interesting lampshades are rare but this one fulfills my secret desire for Pompoms....

For me this armchair is ten times lovelier in this setting!

And kitchens are definitely becoming more girlie too.........

Well that was a nice visit to a strange land for me- I'm not big on romance myself but I can definitely see the charm of being a princess for a day, so I'm off to find some fairy wings and a tiara!

I popped over to see your blog, and what a treat! This is a gorgeous post. I am a big fan of cupcakes (love the picture you posted), and had a marvelous cupcake in London when I was doing the walking tour of Kensington...not too far from Kensington High Street, it is a little cupcake store tucked away on a side street. I can look it up for you if you are interested. It is run by an American, and the cupcakes are divine.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I must admit that I have restrained most of the girly decorating in my home to my daughters' room. There you can find pink, flowers and pom-poms! I just love the photo of the flower casually placed on the distressed chair. That would make me smile every time I looked at it if it were at my place. Might have to visit a second hand store or two...

The perfect post for this Mother of 5 sons!! Like you this is a visit to a strange land, so I have really enjoyed all the images of gorgeous pink things.

Can't decide which is my favourite - I'll come back again soon for another look & be more decisive.
