F is for fish........

(Photo: Jean Allsopp; styling by Brian Carter) Courtesy of Coastal living

I couldn't decide (fern? flora? feathers?) and then my baby son signed his first word so fish it is!

Lovely tiles from Marlborough Tiles

Lovely wooden fish from Beach hut.co.uk

I love old antique prints and you can't beat the starfish for conjuring up memories of childhood seaside holidays-

I confess I had a go after finding a perfect wooden frame in a local Junk shop- my watercolour skills are a bit rusty but don't you think it brightens up this shelf?

This lovely Fishing room is in Newfoundland Canada see more here

And the baby needed a reward for his contribution....

If you think there's not much colour in my posts so far-I may have a little supprise for you with "G"!

My home is decorated in these shades...but I must confess that after a trip to Ck I have been adding a little more colour, just snippets here and there in two rooms!
Looking forward to G!

Those are such lovely images, very tranquil and idyllic. Beach, sea, and fun...that comes to my mind right now. Such a great post.

Hi! Thank you for visiting; I had the best time browsing through this utterly serene and beautiful blog of yours! The maritime themes are so appealing to me right now as during the summers we spend a great deal of time at our summer home by the seashore.

Take care!

F for fantastic fish. I can't wait to get to breathe some salty seaair again. The coming week we're off! In the mean time your next post is the "G". And with much colour. Whatever it is (I'm tipping on Gardens as well...)i'm sure it will be a pleasant surprise with that speical "driftwood shack" touch.
