........this is simple perfection from my favourite artist Christopher Gallego
I think this Jar of olives would make a fantastic kitchen print from Here
In Britain the Kilner jar reigns supreme for traditional preserving but I have started to fall in love with the much more stylish Mason Jar.......

I hate a bathroom full of products- but it can't always be avoided (men!) can it though? This en suite bathroom would have to be for me only.........

.............known as the artist's artist for amazing still life's of jars and bottles, Giorgio Morandi's paintings are so peaceful and calming
......I love this page of floral classification, so go outside pick a weed and get a jar jam out from under the sink this is truely cheap chic.............
ps. laziness and children have hijacked me and the paintings and photo's ideas I started are buried under socks and lollipops in my head- so I may return to to this post later-when the grey clouds are gone and the babysitter returns!

J - for jars - where would be without them! You have shown us a great range of different ones. I especially love your first photo. I have been know to go outside and pick anything green to put in a jam jar - glad it is chic thing to do!

My favourite kind are Apothecary jars. I am building a collection of them in my bathroom. I love filling them with soaps and cotton balls etc.
Lovely selection of images.

Love the bathroom with the wallpaper from Cote de Texas. So pretty!
Thank you for the comment. :)
Love sunlight shining through the glass jars. We fill old coke bottles with sea glass. Great photos!
Wow! You just turned jars into pure romance! Twyla
So beautifully styled as always! Blue glass is my favourite, just a couple of pieces are all that's needed to make my heart sing!

Another beautiful pictorial stroll through some sublime photographs...

Such a lovely collection of jars -- the Christopher Gallego painting is beautiful, as is the one of the olives. Great post.
What fabulous pics again! Thank you so much for all the inspiration and beauty; not to mention your kind comments in my blog :-)
Take care!
I love jars. In Australia (and I'm sure world wide) there were 'poison jars and bottles' They were made in the most vivid bright colours and were embossed with highly risen up patterns and writing so that it was incredibly hard...even in the dark to pick up the wrong bottle and administer a lethal dose! That being said...empty and years on these jars are now my favourite jars and bottles ever. A thrill for the senses! Jen
I'm looking forward now to what the letter K will bring!
Great pictures - so pretty! I have a crazy obsession with Aqua!
